FlappersThey smoked, drank, danced, and voted. Flappers showed an accurate image of womanhood that was going on during the time. They had short hair, wore less clothing so they could move freely, used make up, and started the concept of dating.
Smoking Cigarettes- Smoking started to become very popular and an everyday occurrence in the 1920's. Women were even smoking, they smoked with a long cigarette holder.

Men Fashion- Most Important part of a 1920s man wardrobe was his suit. For day, evening, office, or special occasions such as parties, a man always wore a suit. Suits were made of thick wool or a wool tweed. Pants were made of wool based flannel which made them heavier. The style was more of a slimmer fit.

Women's Fashion 1920s dresses were lighter (due to less material and fabrics) brighter, and shorter length than ever. Shoes and stockings assumed a greater seen now that they were visible. Silk stockings in all colors of the rainbow, mostly with patterns were designed to meet the need's of stylish women.
